Not directly. The "other side" to forgiveness is punishment, hate and making people wrong (in the past). In the process of forgiving one will generally hold in mind the 'wrong' that initiated the need for that forgiveness.

This is demonstrated by the exercise to NOT think of a pink elephant. We will hold in mind, however briefly, the image of a pink elephant while attempting to not think about it. While one is in the process of forgiveness, exactly where is our focus? What are we keeping in mind, while we go about forgiving?

It is (often) a profoundly deep letting go of emotional ties to people and things, especially money and possessions.

This does not require being destitute, or without any possessions. It does require letting go any singular, dependent, static, fixed focus, and allowing alternative views, insights, experiences and/or people or 'things' to enter our experience that will enable us to enrich our experience of peace and joy.

Good health naturally follows being in a state of 'joy, peace, ease, love and laughter.'

In a state of 'peace and joy' we will naturally be exuberant and physically active. Health will be a natural by-product.

It would be difficult to be in ill-health and to live with ease.  By focusing on ease, and 'letting go' beliefs concerning the inevitabiliy of disability, difficulty and ill-health, we'll begin to find our attention shifting to wellness, ease and lightness.

This is an important question, and one that is grossly misunderstood by many.

We now know, quite emphatically, that all of reality is "nonlocally" interconnected.

As physicist Dr Nick Herbert explained (some time ago, by the way):

"Whatever reality may be, it must be non-local. Since (Clauser’s) experimental verification of Bell’s theorem, we know that any correct model of reality has to incorporate explicit non-local connections. No local reality can explain the type of world we live in."
